To celebrate 400 years of the First Folio, students will examine characters from various plays by Shakespeare and present seven 10 minute extracts which will capture the very best of his plays.

It is not important for students to have performed Shakespeare plays prior to this, but a deep love for the Bard is more than adequate. Our students have performed a few of his plays in the past: The Tempest, Much Ado About Nothing, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Julius Caesar.

We will work with his comedies, tragedies and histories. These plays are now the foundation for understanding history and inculcating a love for theatre and the English language!
