On-Stage Workshop: Shakespeare’s The Tempest
Join our upcoming on-stage workshop and bring to life The Tempest—Shakespeare’s timeless tale of magic, revenge, and redemption. This immersive experience is designed to help young performers grow both on stage and in confidence.
Students will dive into the world of Prospero, the powerful sorcerer exiled to a mysterious island, and explore themes of justice, forgiveness, and transformation. Along the way, they’ll gain hands-on training in:
-
Voice modulation
-
Physical expression
-
Improvisation
-
Character development
Guided by experienced instructors, participants will train in the renowned Stanislavski system, preparing for a fully staged performance of the play.
Workshop Details:
-
Ages 7–12 will perform a modern English version of The Tempest—ideal for younger students new to Shakespeare.
-
Ages 12–18 and experienced actors will perform the early modern English (original language) version—perfect for those ready to tackle the Bard’s rich language and style.
This workshop is more than a performance—it's a journey into the heart of acting and storytelling.
