IMPROVISATION is an incredible art form that helps actors and those wishing to learn the art develop a safe environment in which they can undergo experimental learning which is entirely self-directed.

 

DRAMA QUEENS:
A little “Me-Time” for adults? You’re in luck! This class is an acting class that will teach you the intricacies of acting while doing a lot of "playacting," character work and play readings. Of course all of this comes with the best side effects: blow off a little steam and have a bunch of fun (without the pressure of a stage production). Join us on Thursdays, from 11am to 12pm! These are free and easy sessions. Drop in when you have the time and the inclination. Want to have fun and celebrate a special birthday party in a different way? We'll take you and your friends through a fun hour of "dress up," acting, singing and of course that special cuppa at the end of the session.

IMPROV ON STAGE:

In preparation for an on-stage production, this workshop aims to create an environment to give all of you the confidence to piece together a fully devised performance, including play reading, characterisation and various practitioner techniques. Public speaking, quick thinking, and acting techniques are all included in the package! Join us on Saturdays, from 10am to 11am! You can choose to either just drop in when time permits or if you're more serious about the stage, get regular so that we can train you for our on stage production. And yes, the perfect cuppa to kick start your Saturday.
